A wonderfully wild California coastal area, Laguna Beach can get become crowded--especially on weekends. However, you can avoid the crowds by scheduling your elopement here at either sunrise or sunset--at which time it will be decidedly less busy.
With gently rolling dunes and plentiful bird-life, the narrow, half-mile long sandy beach is an ideal spot for your intimate exchange of vows. Park in the parking lot and walk the five to seven minute walk down the winding path (high heels not recommended) as you follow the creek snaking down to the Pacific shore. As you look south across an open meadow of brush (no trees) you can see the sweeping shoreline with its majestic surf. At the north end of the beach, you can tuck into a little nook for more privacy if you prefer.
